Tear down the (fourth) wall — collaborating with KT Niehoff

Designed to radically evolve the interaction between artist and audience, KT Niehoff's immersive Collision Theory is unfolding toward denouement at On the Boards. After nine months of intimate performances and hip happenings—including galleries, dinner parties, installations, musical creations, films, and old-school correspondence—this dazzlingly unique artistic journey continues to shatter the wall between performance and observer.

It has been a challenging, evocative journey, collaborating with KT in the creation of a collective culture committed to spawning creativity, connections, and joyous collision.

The alluring power of simplicity in a cluttered field

When SGB hired us to create a "fresh" print campaign to appear in legal-industry periodicals, the first thing we did was sort through a stack of Bar News and the like. We discovered a preponderance of white guys in suits and a busy, muddled hodgepodge that was tantamount to Better call Saul. It's easy to differentiate when everyone around you is shouting…

Now for the website—tomorrow we present wireframes and SEO findings. The story continues…

Congratz to Karass client Postcardly—the app is live!

Postcardly transforms pix into postcards, delivered by U.S. Mail. And now you can download the app, which lets you send postcards right from your iPhone—brilliant for staying in touch with family elders and the luddites in your karass. (And we have Postcardly to thank for Bear.)

(Their Facebook profile features Karass progenitor Rob Dalton and fam—go share your story!)

SGB fights for your rights. Karass fights for your story.

We're happy to announce we've won our third straight RFP, this one for creating a new web presence for the law firm Schroeter Goldmark & Bender, champions of justice for more than 40 years (they seriously walk the walk). We've already crafted SGB's core story and logo, and now we'll build upon that twin-nucleus to create a website that's as engaging and inspiring as the firm itself.

In other news, change is afoot—we're gearing up to evolve our presence in this marvelous, bewildering media wilderness

Welcome back to the Karass massive—Ariel, Bob, and Bear

We're back to full strength—Ariel has returned from maternity leave, Bob from New Orleans, and Bear from his winter yurt deep in the Olympics, where he finally mastered the banjo.

(Props to Karassmate Dave Estep for the marvelous portraiture and whimsical comminglings.)

Karass + NBBJ = collaborative mojo goodness

Karass has engaged in a collaborative relationship with global architecture and design firm NBBJ—we're partnering with them on an internal project to help them "shape a future that enhances life and inspires human potential and spirit through design."

(We're psyched, because just look at the beauty they bring to this weary wondering world.)

Dig this stunning Seattle vista from Karassmate Dave Estep

This marvelous shot was captured by Estepworks, collaborating with Karass on the art to grace the new Summit Law Group website (currently in development).

We're back, grateful to be collaborating with such marvelous marmots, and ready to tell a boatload of stories that matter in twenty-thirteen.

Sometimes you've got to unplug, unspool, and stare at the sea…
